Easy Chicken Parma

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts

Salt and pepper

¼ c Plain flour

1 egg, well beaten with a tbsp of water

¾ c Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Canola or vegetable oil

Your favorite jarred pasta sauce

Sliced deli ham

½ c shredded mozzarella cheese

Pound chicken breasts one at a time between parchment paper until ½ inch thick all over and season with salt and pepper. Coat chicken first in the flour, then in the egg wash and finally coat well with the seasoned bread crumbs.
Pan fry chicken in the canola oil until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, remove and drain on paper towel.
Place the chicken on a baking sheet and top with a slice of ham, the spread pasta sauce over top (more or less depending on your tastes) then top with shredded cheese.
Place in a 375◦f oven until cheese is melted and everything is heated through (apx. 5-8 minutes)
Serve with a side salad and fresh bread
